This set of three fans uses the Windforce 3X Cooling System by Gigabyte with three fans x 78mm. These fans use the alternate spinning feature. Left and right fan is rotating in the anti-clockwise direction while the middle fan is rotating in the clockwise direction (in the opposite direction).

This rotation system is called “Alternate Spinning” by Gigabyte and this rotation feature solves the turbulence airflow leading to a better cooling and better performance.

Another feature of this model is the passive cooling feature. It is called passive because the fans will stop spinning time after time. While the graphics card is in a low load the fans will stop spinning to make the GPU more silent. So, do not worry if the fans are not spinning if you are not playing or playing a low power game.
